Resident Assistance Program

The Resident Assistance Program provides temporary financial assistance for families with a child under age 18 (or age 19 if a full time student in a secondary school) and whose income does not exceed established standards. 

Since the programs inception, it has provided assistance to over 600,000 families through financial assistance, program education, and various services. 

Who is eligible for the Resident Assistance Program?

To be eligible for the Resident Assistance Program, you must be a resident and a U.S. citizen, legal alien or qualified alien and meet the agency criteria. 

Eligibility criteria includes:

  • Have a child 18 years of age or younger
  • Or, have a child aged 19 who is enrolled in secondary school
  • Household income below $40,000
  • Proof of residence
  • Proof of employment
  • Have not enrolled in program in prior calendar year

Proof of eligibility criteria is required during the application process. Get a head start on your enrollment by consolidating the relevant documentation in advance.

To apply, complete the digital form form linked below. The application should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
